calaisdover.com is an independent information and planning site for the ferry between Dover and Calais. Three operators sail the route: P&O Ferries, DFDS and Irish Ferries, with a combined schedule that runs from early morning to late at night. The crossing takes around 90 minutes, which makes it the shortest ferry route across the English Channel.

With sailings this frequent, the real questions are not whether there is a ferry but which one: which operator takes your setup (only P&O carries foot passengers), what the fare depends on, when check-in actually closes at each port, and which documents the border checks in Dover and Calais expect since ETA and the EU entry system arrived.
